Wellow is about 10 minutes drive from Yarmouth, a main town of great history and charm, with a harbour for visiting yachtsmen and the terminal port for one of the Wightlink car ferry routes.
The location gives easy access for those seeking peace and quiet amidst glorious, unspoilt countryside, and the opportunity to explore the beautiful coastline, timeless villages and quaint hamlets that typify this end of the Island.
The beaches at Compton and Colwell Bay, plus the lovely Tennyson Down and spectacular headland at the Needles are all within easy reach.
Other local attractions include Fort Victoria, Dimbola Lodge, Chessell Pottery and Yarmouth Castle.
The surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and there are plenty of pubs in the vicinity to quench the thirst and satisfy the appetite. The Hamstead Trail runs alongside the property, so bring your walking boots.
